Dalton CC, Lancs Founded 1888
Founded before 1888 and set in picturesque surroundings near Ashurst Beacon in rural West Lancashire, Dalton Cricket Club is still a small, friendly and traditional village cricket club.

With a family atmosphere and its 5 teams [3 senior Saturday teams, a 'Friendlies XI’ and a junior squad (U15's)] the progressive club caters for all abilities and offers modern facilities, nets, qualified coaches, a Club Tour and a large carpark. 2011 saw Dalton CC achieve Clubmark status, the ECB ‘kitemark’ for a safe, child-friendly and well-managed club.
Clubmark re-accreditation was also maintained in 2014.

A lovely spot to enjoy watching or playing cricket, a frequent comment being, "Never been here before - what a lovely, picturesque ground".
